LOCALISATION OF NOKKALA'S BOAT CENTER (address Hintantie 18b)
WHAT IS IT? The public sessions are meant for everybody and give you the opportunity to try paddling (kayaking or canoeing) safely in a restricted area. An instructor will give you short instructions before going paddling and will help you when you will need. Note, that this is not a lesson or a real paddling course.
PRICE
- 8 €. Payment by cash, Smartum and TYKY vouchers
- 0€ (FREE!) with the Oulu University Sports pass
- Under 18v: 4 €
EQUIPMENT: The club is providing kayak or canoe, paddle, spraydeck and buoyancy vest. It could be useful to take with you change clothes, since your clothes are getting a little bit wet by paddling.
AND AFTER? If you feel you would like to continue paddling you can think about participating to a beginner course or to simply join the club. The club is owning lots kayaks, canoes and SUP boards, so at the beginning you don't need to spend money in new equipment.
